Seeing You Cry Broke My Heart

"I wanted to tell you that God loves you, that I, with my little inadequate flawed selfish heart love you. I wanted to exchange your tears for kisses, to buy your pain with love. I wanted to tell you that NOTHING is stronger than love. Love will banish the ghosts of the past. NOTHING can penetrate a heart purified by unconditional love. You have been gifted with the power, tremendous power. Insight has shown me that power is not in words, not in eloquent speech. The greatest power is in silence. My teacher told me that Allah can fill up my cup of Grace, that if I want Him to do this I need to empty it first, of pride, of ego, of words... The dead birds of your dream. What is my cup of grace? It is my heart. I invite you to empty yours.
Thank you so much for sharing your story with me. We are fellow travelers, companions who have met up for a time in this way station, this caravanserai on the Silk Road. I prefer your beautiful smile to your tears, your pealing laughter to your doubts and fears. Let them go.

I want to tell you that my angels wield swords, that you are protected from this moment on by a community of sinners and fools who love you unconditionally and pray for you ceaselessly from Atlanta to New York, from Minnesota to Colorado, from Istanbul to Ajmer, from Delhi to Kaolack.
Fools and Dreamers all..
Love, Love only LOVE"
