2013 is the year of the snake, and the healing wisdom of the serpent is available to us all this year, if we choose to accept it. Snake medicine is powerful and transformational. It stimulates us to grow - frequently in directions we had not forseen. To allow this to happen, we often need to shed old skins, to release that which no longer supports the direction of our unfolding life force. The skin we need to shed might be who we have been in a relationship, a point of view, a belief system or an identity. When shedding a skin, like the snake, we enter into a period where we are neither completely what we once were, nor yet what we will be. We are becoming. We might not even know what we are becoming! We may just sense that we are no longer what we once were. The divine wisdom of the snake can help us. The snake doesn't plan or control its growth cycles, it surrenders into them as they naturally occur. We can learn from this. If we allow ourselves to trust in our own life process, our growth happens perfectly, without planning or control. It is safe to trust your life experiences and don't worry if you don't understand them! Call on the loving wisdom of snake medicine and trust. You don't have to know, you just need to let go - and then you'll grow. May the divine serpent mother bless your journey this year.

Today's (1/10/13) Surrender into Healing and Wholeness

It stimulates us to grow - frequently in directions we had not forseen.
